Welcome to St. John’s Mt. Washington.  We look forward to meeting you in person, if we haven't already.  Since 2012, we have been holding our Sunday morning worship services at Springwell Chapel in the Springwell Senior Living Community on W. Rogers Ave in Mt. Washington.  This location is about a mile from our historic church building, located at the corner of South Road and Kelly Avenue, near Mt. Washington Village.   

 

On Sundays, when we gather for worship and fellowship we’re an eclectic group of people – all ages, races, backgrounds and even faiths. Whether we drive to Springwell, or live on its campus, we are a community. Come and see for yourself what life is like at St. John’s. We’d love to get to know you.

St. John’s Mt. Washington is a community that has transformed itself.  We used to hold our worship services in a very traditional setting – inside our historic church building at the corner of South Rd and Kelly Ave, in Mt. Washington.  We had an organ, a paid choir, pews, stained glass windows and all the trimmings of a traditional church.  But, maintaining “business as usual” was costly, so we got real – and began to think differently.  Since 2012, we have made our home at Springwell Chapel in  Springwell Senior Living Community on W. Rogers Ave – about a mile up the hill from our historic building.
