Rashmi is an entrepreneur at heart even though her early career was spent working for blue-chip consulting and Fortune-100 companies in the Industrial and Retail industries. After having informally helped numerous aspiring MBAs think through and articulate their motivations for an MBA, Rashmi dove head long into admissions consulting in 2007. Since then she has successfully counseled 100's of candidates helping them gain admission to the elite MBA programs both in the US and Internationally. Rashmi is passionate about helping her clients take control of their careers and enjoys getting to know them and unearthing what makes them unique. In her spare time, Rashmi loves to visit the unspoilt beaches of the world and shares a passion for horseback riding.
Rashmi earned her Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University and a MS in Computer Science from Ball State University where she graduated at the top of her class and her MBA from the The Univesity of Chicago Booth School of Business. After graduating from Ball State, Rashmi joined Caterpillar in their product engineering solutions division and later worked as a consultant with Accenture Technology Solutions.
While at Booth and since, Rashmi has been active across the entire admissions cycle, having been a member of DSAC (Dean’s Student Admissions Committee), an Admissions Ambassador, Admissions Event Host and Alumni Interviewer. After business school, Rashmi worked in Corporate Marketing for Sears, a Fortune-50 retailer based in Chicago. Since 2009, Rashmi has been an admissions consultant and career coach full-time.
